Lobuche East (6,119m) is one of Nepal’s most rewarding trekking peaks — more technical and demanding than Island Peak, offering a genuine mountaineering experience for climbers seeking a greater challenge in the iconic Khumbu Everest region.
The ascent features steep mixed terrain, glacier travel, and a dramatic exposed ridge leading to the summit. From the top, climbers are rewarded with one of the most spectacular vantage points in the Himalayas — with close-up views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Pumori, and the entire Khumbu icefall below.
This package follows the classic Everest region approach route — passing through Namche Bazaar, Dingboche, and Lobuche — with full climbing support, acclimatization days, a high camp night, and a dedicated pre-summit training session.

Trek through Sagarmatha National Park to the famous Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar.

Prior Experience Recommended
Lobuche East is more technically demanding than Island Peak. Prior high-altitude trekking experience (above 5,000m) and basic mountaineering training are strongly recommended. Climbers should be comfortable with steep terrain, glacier travel, and fixed rope systems.
Travel insurance with helicopter evacuation cover is mandatory for all participants.
