Scenic mountain flight to Lukla, then trek alongside the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding through Sherpa villages.

Cross suspension bridges and ascend through Sagarmatha National Park to the Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar.

Pre-dawn start (2–3am). Climb through a rocky gully, cross a glacier, ascend fixed ropes on the headwall, and reach the summit for spectacular Himalayan views. Descend to Chhukung.

Personal Equipment Required
Climbers must bring their own personal technical gear: mountaineering boots (compatible with crampons), crampons, harness, ice axe, helmet, jumar/ascender, carabiner, and warm high-altitude clothing layers. Equipment can be rented in Kathmandu or Namche Bazaar if needed — ask us for a full gear list.
Travel insurance with helicopter evacuation cover is mandatory for all Island Peak climbing participants.
